Celebrate Blanc Friday with a Chaleur Blanc vertical tasting – featuring six pours of this acclaimed Bordeaux-style white wine.
The Chaleur Blanc Vertical Library Tasting experience compares our newest release of our 2022 Chaleur Blanc alongside previous vintages including 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. This 1.5-hour guided tasting experience will be hosted in our Library Room on the second floor of our tasting room. During the tasting, we will have a limited amount of library vintages for purchase.
Tastings are available beginning at 11 am on Friday, November 24th.
About Chaleur Blanc
Crafting a white Bordeaux-style blend was unheard of in Washington when the winery first created Chaleur Blanc. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, this wine is fermented sur lie in French oak barrels, imparting a memorable “crème brulee” finish. Served at the White House over three administrations and rivaling its French counterparts in quality and exceptional value, Chaleur Blanc has become one of the winery’s most influential blends.
