This wine has excellent tension to accompany the round, more opulent style the warm vintage offers. The outstanding 2023 DeLille Cellars Roussanne is a gorgeous edition of this wine that deftly combines weight and finesse. Stored in a combination of neutral oak, concrete and stainless steel this offers bright honeysuckle on the nose alongside kiwi and brie cheese notes. The palate is soft and refined with a smooth texture and great sense of weight. Beautifully balanced, coming from the Ciel du Cheval Vineyard, this is another stunning release of this wine. As a single vineyard wine from the famed Ciel du Cheval vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA, the distinctive mineral complexity is the foundation of every vintage.

Ciel du Cheval Vineyard is one of the oldest sites on Red Mountain. Here, the Roussanne grape flourishes under the intense Red Mountain sun.
Winemaking
Full cluster pressed, cold settled for 48 hours before fermentation. 15% Neutral French oak fermented.
