2023 Sagemoor Vineyards® Riesling
White Bluffs AVA
The 2023 vintage of our Sagemoor Riesling is a thoughtful blend of fruit from two vineyards: Bacchus (80%) and Gamache (20%), yielding intoxicating aromas of green apple, lychee, honeydew melon, and key lime. The energetic palate leads with bright, racy acidity that’s balanced by the appealing waxy texture created by the hint of residual sugar (11.7 g/L). Notes of petrichor and white flowers complement the medley of dried herbs. Enjoy this lively wine now, or cellar for increased complexity over the next 10+ years.

Kaffir lime leaves, white peaches, honey and jasmine on the nose of this fragrant, fresh white. It’s supple on the medium-bodied palate and very lightly honeyed. Very attractive. Drink now.

Behind the Wine
2023 Sagemoor Vineyards® Riesling
Riesling, one of the founding varietals of Washington State, benefits from the warm days and cool nights of the Columbia Valley, producing wines of generous fruit flavors, well balanced by brisk acidity. The higher elevation of the White Bluffs allows for a longer growing season, adding hang time complexity to the fruit from the Sagemoor Vineyards.

Winemaking
Fermented in Stainless Steel. A touch of residual sugar (11.7g/L) balances the full-bodied mouthfeel and bustling acidity.
