Rosé Columbia Valley 2022

90 points
Grenache makes up 50% of this wine, with the rest Mourvèdre (39%) and Cinsault. All fermented and aged in stainless steel, it’s a light bronze color with a salmon tinge. Aromas of melon, strawberry, and herb lead to full-bodied, richly-styled fruit flavors that focus on texture and intensity. This is a difficult style to pull off in Washington. This wine does it, with the acidity of the vintage providing a strong assist. 14.1% alcohol. Natural cork. 950 cases produced.

Le Dessein Columbia Valley 2020

93 points, Critic’s Choice
This is a blend of Mourvèdre (44%), Grenache (36%), and Syrah. Aromas of pot roast, raspberry, ground black pepper, and fresh herb are followed by deft, forward, medium-plus bodied red fruit flavors. It’s captivating, with the feel bringing as much appeal as the flavors. Pair it with spice-rubbed lamb shank. 14.5% alcohol. Natural cork. 1,400 cases produced.

Le Petit Doux Late Harvest Sémillon Red Mountain 2022

91 points
Blended with 20% Sauvignon Blanc, the aromas draw you into the glass, with notes of freshly peeled tangerine, mandarin orange, and honey. The palate is sweet and rich while also remaining poised and balanced. It’s a perfect end to any evening. 375ml. 10.2% alcohol. Natural cork. 370 cases produced.

Riesling White Bluffs 2022

91 points, Critic’s Choice
This is a field blend of two different vineyards, fermented and aged in stainless steel. It’s an aromatically vibrant wine, with notes of apricot, honey, lime leaf, and peach. Just off-dry Nestea peach iced-tea flavors follow. It shows a pleasing balance of ripeness and freshness that keeps you coming back for more. 12.1% alcohol. Natural cork. 475 cases produced.

2021 Le Dessein, 2022 Roussanne and Forget-Me-Not Rosé

Roussanne Red Mountain 2022

90 points
Fermented in French oak (15% new), the aromas offer notes of apricot, peach, and herb. The stone fruit flavors are fuller around the edges, lighter in the middle. Perhaps some additional time in bottle will further fill it in. As is, there’s much to enjoy. 12.0% alcohol. Natural cork. 850 cases produced.
