Discovery Vineyard

Horse Heaven Hills AVA

First planted in 2005, Discovery Vineyard hosts 30 acres of vineyards overlooking the Columbia River. 17 acres consist of Cabernet Sauvignon. The average vineyard elevation is 550 feet and has an aggressive slope of 6%, which assists in major air drainage.

The vineyard was originally plated by Paul Champoux for Milo and Kay May in 2005. All vineyard work (pruning, suckering, shoot thinning, fruit thinning, and harvest) is accomplished by hand.
