2019 Klipsun Cabernet
Red Mountain AVA
Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2019 Klipsun Cabernet is a blend of our favorite eight barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the esteemed Klipsun Vineyard. Often quite powerful and structured in its youth, this year’s effort is more restrained, highlighting the savory character of the vintage. Cranberry, thyme, black fig, and hoisin are all framed beautifully by toasty oak. The finish is invitingly long and refined, with trademark dusty Red Mountain tannins being the driver.
