Located on Phinny Ridge, Discovery Vineyard has quickly established itself as one of this appellation’s top sites. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate, dried herb, black currant and plum lead to bright, rich, tightly packed fruit flavors. It shows a lot of hedonism, polish and class. —S.S.

This is a blend of fruit from top sites Boushey, Harrison Hill and DuBrul. The aromas enchant, with notes of fresh and dried herb, orange rind, sage, cedar, plum and bing cherry. The flavors and plush and palate coating while bringing a lot of grace. It’s delicious. Editors’ Choice. —S.S.
