We are excited to be a part of University Village’s Women Supporting Women Event in celebration of International Women’s Day! On March 6th, during Happy Hour (3:00 PM – 5:30 PM), stop by DeLille En Ville to meet the women of the DeLille winemaking team. There will be opportunities to ask questions about DeLille wines, the winemaking process, and what it’s like being a woman in the wine industry. Whether you have burning questions about the process of making your favorite DeLille wine or just want to enjoy a glass in good company, there is no better occasion to drop by.
Plus, enjoy special happy-hour pricing on the winemaking team’s recommendations for the evening and 10% retail wine purchases during the event.
MAKE A RESERVATION >, or drop by after you’ve explored the many woman-owned businesses popping up throughout the complex.
Mari Rossi graduated from Cornell University in 2011 with a BS in Enology and Viticulture. She worked multiple harvests around the world, including in Sonora, Napa, and New Zealand, before settling back in her hometown of Seattle, WA, and joining the DeLille team for the 2014 harvest. She started full-time as our Enologist shortly after harvest and, in 2019, became our Assistant Winemaker.
Page found her way into winemaking while studying for her advanced Sommelier certificate. A mentor recommended that she work a harvest to learn all sides of the craft. In 2017, she worked her first harvest in Southern Oregon, which left her wanting more. After two subsequent harvests in California, she pivoted her career path to production, completing UC Davis’s Winemaking Certificate program in 2019. Page joined the DeLille team in 2021, first as a harvest intern, which led to a full-time position in the Cellar. In 2024, Page was promoted to Enologist, managing our day-to-day cellar operations.
